Retail Less Description
Travel Centers using this program are:

2. Pilot - Retail Less 2 cents
3. Loves - Retail Less 2 cents
A retail less program is the easiest to calculate. You can easily determine what your discounted price will be by subtracting the discount amount from the retail price. The good thing about this program is that even if the Travel Center is selling fuel at their cost you are still going to get a discount where with a cost plus program you wouldn't, but in markets where the Travel Center is selling fuel for more than their cost, your discount will not be as large as it would have been with a cost plus program.
Let's look at an example of a Retail Less Discount Program.
Example
Petro is advertising a price of $1.57. We have negotiated a Retail Less 2 cent deal with them.
$1.57 - 2 cents = $1.55
In this example you would pay $1.55 per gallon when you purchased fuel using the Comdata card provided by FactorLoads.
