Volume Rebate

The Volume Rebates are calculated from the dollar amount of freight you factored with us for the previous month. Freight that you had us bill will not go towards the volume when calculating rebates. In order to receive your rebate you must invoice us. We must have the invoice in our office within 30 days from the last day of the previous month. All the information you need to invoice us, can be generated in the custom reports section.You can even print an invoice there.

Volume Rebates are given in the following brackets.

0 - $20,000	6.9% (no rebate)
$20,001 - $40,000	6.4%
$40,001 - $60,000	5.9%
$60,000 +	5.4%

Let's look at some examples to help you see exactly what this means to you.

Example #1
Let's say that last month you factored $25,000 with us.
$25,000 x 6.9% = $1,725

Since $25,000 puts you in the 6.4% bracket at the end of the month we recalculate the entire amount factored at the bracket rate you fall into.

$25,000 puts you in the 6.4% bracket
$25,000 x 6.4% = $1,600

We then calculate your rebate by subtracting the 6.4% amount from the 6.9% amount.

$1,725-$1,600 = $125

Therefore, $125 is your rebate amount and will be loaded on your Comdata card the 1st of every month.

Let's look at one more example for further clarification.
Example #2
Let's say you factored $45,000 with us last month. Each time you factored a load we would charge our standard rate of 6.9%

$45,000 x 6.9% = $3,105

However,since a volume of $45,000 puts you in the 5.9% bracket, on the last day of the month, we will recalculate your entire dollar volume at the new rate and rebate you the difference.

$45,000 x 5.9% = $2,655

$3,105 - $2,655 = $450

$450 is the difference between our standard rate and the volume rate. This is your rebate amount and will be loaded on your card the 1st day of the month.
